We have owned a pop up camper for many years & late this past summer decided to move up to a lightweight travel trailer. We saw a neighbor’s trailer w/a nifty looking design & started looking. We drove by Windish in Longmont & saw an attractive Kodiak Ultra-light trailer. We also looked at another dealer in the area w/ultra-light trailers. When we decided that we liked the Kodiak we came back & worked with Jacob Bartman who made us an appealing offer w/some nice additions. The unit we wanted had a delamination problem & Jacob told us that it could be fixed under the warranty, so we decided to buy. We spoke with Craig in the finance department to fill out the paperwork & set a date to pick up the trailer. When we arrived the next week to pick up the trailer it was ready to go. They walked us through some basics and hitched up the trailer. We were pleased working w/Jacob who has stayed in touch & made initial contacts w/the service department. They asked us to use the trailer a couple of times even though it was fall weather then bring it back for the lamination & other minor fixes. I had read some reviews of Windish where people complained about the service and support so I was a little apprehensive.
We brought our trailer in for service in early October & were checked in by Whitney. She reviewed our fix-it list and indicated that the time they would need to keep the trailer for service might be later than originally thought. We were fine with that. We returned to pick up the trailer in late October & we were pleased to see that the lamination fix looked great. Whitney walked us through the things we had asked to be fixed & told us they found a few other things and fixed them as well. She also gave us some tips on using the trailer that were most helpful. Overall, we have been especially pleased with the sales & service at Windish. We are excited to have a larger trailer w/lots of options & have only experienced friendly, knowledgable & helpful people at Windish. - Bill
We are first time travel trailer owners and are so thankful that we found Bobby. We had spent a few weeks looking online and researching the type of trailer we wanted (5th wheel vs pull) and had looked a couple of times at Camping World on Colfax. They would only show us 2 different models priced very differently but when asked why one was more expensive the salesman guy just shrugged and said it had to do with parts used. We were irritated with them and looked online for another camper facility. We decided to go to Windish based on the Yelp reviews.
We showed up about 15 minutes before the sales floor closed on a Thursday afternoon. Bobby was happy to show us a few models. What made us decide to stick with him and Windish was the fact that before he showed us any models he went through an education process for us. Bobby took the time to teach us the differences between fiberglass vs aluminum and other things that we did not know we even needed to know! We instantly felt better about making this big purchase and were very thankful we found Bobby.
Bobby took into consideration all the requirements we needed - what our truck could pull, the bunks we needed for our boys and that it needed to be easy for me to learn to use on my own being among the more important things - and showed us what to look for and what to stay away from in a travel trailer. Never once did we feel pushed toward one thing or another. In fact, he kept telling me things to look up about the various models when I got home to do more research. We decided to purchase from him right then and there.
What has made Bobby even more outstanding in my opinion is all his help since we took ownership of the trailer. He has patiently answered all my questions, provided assistance and advice, and has reached out to make sure we are comfortable using our trailer. Bobby has been such an asset in this process for us and I cannot express enough how thankful we are for him!

I wanted to let you know about my experience I had with your employees this morning.
I have been waiting for a return call from your competeitor down the road for 1 week. No return call. I am needing an estimate for an older trailer that has some hail damage. When I called them back 1 week later to ask about the return call, they then informed me they don't do this unless you are a customer who purchased from them. That would have been nice to have known a week ago by returning my call.
Now to advise you the service I received from your professionals. I started with Vinny. Vinny explained everything to me, including the cost for the estimate. I truly appreciated the upfront honest information rather than to be surprised the day I bring it in. When I spoke with Vinny I wanted to contact my insurance agent to make sure they were aware of the costs. So when I called back, I spoke with Jake. Again the professionalism was very impressive.
I realize my trailer is old, and they most likely will total the trailer, but the fact that it is mine and it serves my needs they really seemed to understand.
Because of these 2, whether I decide to buy something new or keep this trailer, I truly hope I can do business with your company. This is due to Vinny and Jake.

First off, I'm not the type to normally take time to write reviews, but wanted to regarding Windish RV. My wife and I were very green to the whole RV world and came in to just look around. We visited many times and got nothing but exceptional customer service. Michael Dane was our salesperson that we met. He was very invested in educating us with a general knowledge base and answering all of our questions. There was never any pressure to buy, but he always gave his honest and valuable knowledge in helping us with narrowing down what would be right for us. We eventually bought a used RV from them and the entire team and process was first class. They hooked everything up in the RV and spent a few hours showing us everything about it and how to use it. They made us feel like we were very important to them and that they truly valued our business. We feel so fortunate to have had them help us with the entire process and could not ask for them to be anymore professional than they were. After ordering a 25' FB twin, Len continued to answer our many questions over the phone. Jump ahead to delivery when our walk through was informative and detailed. Zach shaw was my sales rep and absolutely amazing and patient. I purchased a 2017 airstream international signature 27' and had the greatest experience. This was my first RV, so I asked a ton of questions. Zach walked me through several models and sizes, even standing in the unit when it was so cold both of us were shivering. I took a ton of zach's time and he was always there to answer every question. When it came time to pick it up, the rest of the team did a great job on the pre inspection, hitch set up, trailer brake installation, paperwork, you name it. I agree that the service department had challenges in the past, and I too was greatly frustrated in the slow turn around and errors. We recently purchased a Travel trailer from Windish RV. It was a great Experience. Looking at all the different trailers was great. There was no sales pressure from the sellers, and we were free to wander from camper to camper at our leisure looking at the different types. I have worked specifically with Ty and Will in the service department. We did some major upgrades to our 2015 Voltage this year and also had a long list of warranty repairs. Ty and Will were both very willing to accommodate the changes we had to the order throughout the upgrade project. Both have returned my phone calls and kept me in the loop with what repair work was going on and staying within the budget presented. They gave very realistic timelines of completion dates. Both guys are willing to give good advice on repair work and both are very professional. I would highly recommend working with either of these two guys.
I have to also recommend working with Corey Shaw as he helped us build and order our unit, recommending specific changes that fit what our needs were and not trying to up-sell like other sales people would. Mitch in finance is also very good at keeping in contact and getting the deal closed in a timely manner. - Megan
We took our 19' Airstream to Windish for some repairs and ended up buying a new 28' Airstream in the process. Brian in the Service Dept was conscientious, courteous and he took the time to fully explain our options for repairs. The repairs were performed exactly as promised with the exception of a delay in a part that he had no control over.
As we wandered around the lot, Manny offered to help us. He, too, was courteous, answered our questions and never attempted to hard-sell us on anything. After a few days, we decided to upgrade to the new model and contacted Manny, who answered more questions & professionally negotiated a sale that we were happy with.
We are very pleased with how everyone at Windish treated us and recommend them to anyone thinking about buying an RV. BTW, Windish's Service Dept gives priority to people who bought their RV through Windish, so buy from them because you'll get excellent service while you own as a bonus. - Tupper
Great Customer Service in the service department. Had a unique issue with the Airstream inverter and Brian along with Taylor worked me in to the schedule. While I was waiting they gave me updates frequently. Their approach to me as a customer felt like they had just graduated from a highly rated customer service program. Just wanted to thank Clayton Barrow and Mitch in Finance for their great service. I had been searching for a used fifth wheel and asked for a quote. Clayton called me on Monday after a Sunday search and inquiry. They were the only dealership that called back. I was on my way to Denver to look at various locations, Clayton showed me several options and then the unit that I saw online. I went and looked at a couple other units but came back and purchased the unit that Monday. We needed it quickly for my daughter to have a quick residence to finish up her masters degree for a short time period and then my wife and I will use it in our retirement we hope. I just bought a fifth wheel from Windish RV in Longmont. Drew & Leah were so enjoyable to work with. Since this is the first RV that I have owned, I had many questions. They were so helpful and patient. They were never too busy to give me the explanations that I needed or that my questions were ridiculous. I also never got the feeling that they hoped that I did not call them with more but just the opposite - they encouraged me to call when I had more. My wife and I bought a used Airstream camper trailer from Windish in Nov 2014. The entire experience was extremely positive. We actually visited four times over a three-week period before making a final decision. Each time, we were greeted by professional sales staff and other employees who remembered our names, remembered our interests and had done some "homework" based on our statements and questions even though they didn't really know whether we would ever return.
